Nokia(Chengdu)--System Specialist
Position Description:
Your main task is to do verification and integration work for new application software in Linux based server elements. The application software is mainly developed with C/C++ and Java.
You are going to work also as an R&D system specialist in China and support our internal and external customers. In this role you need to be able to quickly grasp understanding of customer requirements, explain current functionality and estimate the complexity of proposed requirements. You will specify the new functionality together with other interest groups so that the implementation can be done in time.
Requirements:
· Academic background of an MSc or BSc degree in Computer Science, telecommunications or other relevant area.
· Ability to work in team among demanding condition with complex issues.
· Understanding basics of quality and the V-model of testing is a must
· Experience in software development, with C/C++ or JAVA language.
· Knowledge of Linux, LAN and TCP/IP and routing, VoIP protocols knowledge (i.e. SIP) desired
· Problem solving skills
· Good knowledge of IP protocols
· Able to enhance team performance by bringing enthusiasm and positive attitude
Nokia(Chengdu)--Quality Assurance and Test Automation Engineers
Job Description:
Quality Assurance engineer’s main task will be to verify and test new application software for Linux based server elements. The application software is mainly developed with C/C++ and Java.
Test Automation Engineer carry out test automation design, implementation and execution for functional testing for our group’s product releases. On a day to day basis, this will involve test planning, test case design and test case script implementation. In addition to this, you will have the chance to use your skills working on test execution and troubleshooting. More specific tasks will ultimately depend on your abilities, work experience and career aspirations.
You will also need to estimate the complexity of proposed designs and discuss them together with our Specification and Design engineers and other software engineers so that the implementation and verification can be done in time. You understand how the end customer is using the system and verify that the product fulfills those requirements.
You will participate in planning and development of the verification environment, you design and execute test cases, report test results and problems and suggest product improvements.
Requirements:
· Academic background of an MSc or BSc degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or other relevant area.
· Experience in UNIX, Linux or FreeBSD environments
· Experience in software testing or programming.
· Familiar with test processes and test automation.
· Programming skill is a benefit, (especially required for test automation area)
· Good working knowledge of databases in an advantage
· Knowledge of WML, HTML, PHP or WinRunner scripting will be advantageous
· Knowledge of IP protocols

Job Description:
You are a key person in a team responsible for developing and maintaining a laboratory environment for Linux based server products.
Your will set up a testing laboratory and maintain a verification environment for testing of application server products, which involves hardware and software installations, testing support. You will look after the IP networks, including routers and switches, and testing infrastructure.
As a Laboratory Engineer you have an excellent position to gain system level competence of the Nokia Networks products. Depending your ambitions, system knowledge is good foundation for your further career development.
Requirements:
· Academic background of an MSc or BSc degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or a similar subject.
· Experience in IP networking, including network design and planning as well as of the configuration of routers and switches.

· Competence on database products like Oracle or mySQL
· Database administration, replication and tuning experience |
